Lake Brunner is a very warm lake by New Zealand standard reaching temperatures of up to 21deg in summer. This makes Brunner the idea lake for fishing, water skiing and most other water sports. Moana is the township and is three hours drive from Christchurch over the spectacular Arthur’s Pass.
